Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
A: Admission for a 30 minute challenge is $20 per player. Admission for a 60 minute challenge is $28 to $32 per player. Special pricing is available for larger groups or for our corporate team building program.
Q: WHO CAN PLAY?
A: The games are designed for adults and teenagers alike. Parents should use their discretion when bringing younger children to play. If you are bringing two or more children under the age of 13yrs. old or younger, we require that you book a minimum of four players (six for an eight player room), which closes the room to additional bookings, to ensure the enjoyment of all participants. At least one of those paid participants must be an adult.
Q: WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOM AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
A: An Escape Room is a real-life escape game that consist of groups of 2-8 players, that are locked in a room and have 30 to 60 minutes to find clues, solve puzzles and work together as a team to escape the room before time runs out. Teams that work together have the highest success rate.
Q: WILL THERE BE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE ROOM?
A: When you book your reservation, the room will become private. Should you want to add additional players, you may call us to make that option available.
Q: IS THERE A MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS PER GAME?
A: The rooms are designed for a minimum of 2 players to a maximum of 6 to 8 players.
Q: IF I AM UNDER 18 YEARS OLD CAN I PLAY WITHOUT A PARENT OR GUARDIAN PRESENT?
A: Players under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian before playing the game. All others participants must sign a liability waiver upon arrival.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
A: Bring your imagination and determination. No special tools are required. We recommend comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes. Lockers are provided to store your cell phones, purses and personal belongings that are not allowed in the game rooms.
Q: ARE FOOD & DRINKS ALLOWED IN THE ROOMS?
A: Due to the setup of the rooms, we cannot allow any food or drinks in the room. Also, we cannot allow anyone who is obviously intoxicated to play the game.
Q: DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE?
A: The games are designed to promote communication and be fun. You will be gathering clues and solving puzzles. The only thing you need is a positive attitude and willingness to work together with your teammates to find the way to escape.
Q: HOW LONG WILL I BE THERE?
A: You should arrive about 10 minutes early to sign in and receive instructions about the particular game you are playing. Once the game starts you will have 30 to 60 minutes, depending on which challenge you are playing, to escape. Afterwards plan on spending a few minutes taking pictures and recapping the events of the previous game with your friends. Remember the game clock will start at the time you reserved so please arrive early. If you arrive late, you will get the time left of the game clock reserved for your play. Unfortunately there are no refunds or rescheduling if you arrive late for your reservation.
Q: DO I NEED A RESERVATION AND HOW DO I PAY?
A: Payment is made by credit or debit card at the time you book your game through our online reservation center. In order to reserve your preferred room and time, we recommend that you book in advance. If you are unable to book online we do take walk in customers if the time slot is available for the game you want to play when you arrive.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
A: Should you need to cancel your reservation, you must contact us at least 48 hours before your reserved time. We will be happy to reschedule your booking, but we do not make refunds. Should you need to change your reservation time with less than 48hours notice, we will attempt to rebook that time with another guest. If we are unable to do so, you will be responsible for the payment of your original booking.
Q: AM I REALLY GOING TO BE LOCKED IN A ROOM?
A: Yes! It wouldn’t be much fun if you weren’t! Don’t worry though, every game is monitored on closed circuit video and audio. In case you need to leave the room during the game there is an exit button clearly marked on the wall that unlocks the door. Once you leave there is no re-entry to the room. Should you choose to leave during the challenge your game is over. The remainder of your group may continue until time has expired or they succeed in escaping.
Q: IS IT SCARY?
A: No! While the setting of some of our rooms may be considered intense by some people, none of our rooms are horror themed. There are no monsters hiding in the rooms!
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CAN’T ESCAPE?
A: You are a loser!!! (Just kidding!) If you fail to escape don’t feel bad. Most groups that try won’t be successful on their first attempt. We will still take your picture and share it on our site so everyone can make fun of you! You can always return to the same room and try again in the future. If you want a real challenge come back and try a different room.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DO ESCAPE?
A: You are awesome! You have managed to accomplish what very few people are able to do. In recognition of your achievement we will take your picture and share it on our site so you can brag to all your friends and family. You will also have the opportunity to purchase one of our rare and coveted “I Escaped!” T-shirts. Only winners get the chance to buy one!
